About this place
One of the pleasures of Tashimaya is finding out what is on the daily lunch menu. A visitor previously mentioned a daily set featuring grilled pork with grated daikon and ponzu. At the time, it cost 700 yen, or 930 yen with coffee. Those prices and dishes reflect that visitor’s report; the changing menu is part of the appeal.
Set meals include pork cutlet, katsu-toji, chicken nanban, minced-meat cutlet, hamburger steak and dashimaki (Japanese rolled omelette). If you know what you want, choose from the set-meal menu; if not, the daily special is worth a look.
Breakfast dishes and morning sets make Tashimaya an option for an early meal, too. Visitors have also described the morning and lunchtime offerings as reasonably priced. The café is in Hirano Ward, Osaka City, and offers dine-in service.
